Marketing and Content Manager

Job Title and Area of Responsibility:

Title: Israel365 Marketing and Content Manager

Responsible for developing and leading the marketing and content strategy for all campaigns and projects using data, knowledge, experience, intuition, and team participation. Content and marketing contributions can include websites, newsletters, articles, blogs, videos, html, banners/pop ups, and other forms of revenue and engagement driven streams.   


High Level Strategic Responsibilities:

  • Creating compelling and effective content/storytelling that aligns with all project guidelines and achieves revenue targets
  • Managing and collaborating with marketing team members
  • Gaining influence and buy-in of content concepts from clients   
  • Executing all marketing content and messaging using the “funnel” experience as the gold standard (awareness, engagement, acquisition, and retention)


Daily Tactical Responsibilities:

  • Hiring and onboarding marketing/content team members that are aligned on corporate strategic initiatives delivering profitable revenue 
  • Leading agenda driven weekly marketing/content team meetings to ensure alignment, smooth and timely execution on all projects and campaigns
  • Collaborating on all relevant marketing strategic decisions with the in-house team and clients 
  • Taking initiative and gaining management buy-in to optimize opportunities and eliminate obstacles in the company’s execution of projects and campaign
  • Growing and delivering revenue targets using content and marketing tools that are aligned with the A to Z Project/Campaign Guidelines 
  • Ensuring application of corporate management standards utilizing A to Z Project/Campaign Planning Sheets, Post Mortem Recap Sheets, Data Reporting and Asana Task Management
  • Leading marketing/content efforts (some examples listed below:) 
    • Coordination with 3rd party publishers
    • Manage articles and blog posts on Israel365 and client websites
    • Provide data-driven marketing/content guidance based on analysis
    • Increase engagement on social media pages per day/week 
    • Build our brand, following and reach on social media platforms
    • Overseeing weekly/monthly email newsletters

  • Hard KPI’s:
    • Israel365 Corporate Revenue Results Monthly versus Target 
    • Israel365 Recurring Donor, Purchaser, Subscriber Growth  
    • Israel365 Media Client Retention Rate
  • Soft KPI’s:
    • Clear communication
    • Multitasker and timely execution 
    • Foster creativity and team collaboration 


Skills/Past Experience:

  • Proven track record of leading successful digital marketing campaigns
  • Experience with leading teams and clients in an effective and positive manner
  • Cultural fluency of both Israeli, Jewish and American culture
  • Familiarity with digital tools, including WordPress, Mailchimp, Google Analytics and Facebook ads.
